Label Wine Tasting Themes

We have held a number of wine tastings with the theme around the labels on the wine bottles. The label must have a picture or name in the chosen theme.

Examples Include:
Zoological - Any Animals
Ornithogical - Birds
Down on the Farm - anything to do with Farming
By the Water - Boats, lakes, oceans
Guys & Girls - names/pictures

People usually comment that they get to taste wines that they wouldn't normally buy and are sometimes pleasantly surprised by the taste test.

We get an amazing array of wines and very rarely double up on a label and if we do one might be a Pinot Gris and the other a Merlot. We do an informal judging and award the wines points and at the end of the night we collect the sheets and publish the 'winners' in our Club magazine.
